          FAREWELL

          CLASS 12 (2014-15)

          12th of February, 2015

On the twelfth of February, 2015, our school witnessed its first farewell party hosted by the students of Class Eleven and dedicated to the first batch of Class Twelve students of Arwachin International School. In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the auditorium of the School, the Director, Mr.Arun Sharma, Principal, Mrs.Gracy Peter, students and teachers of the school bid adieu to the outgoing students of 2014 batch, at a grand farewell function held at the school auditorium.

The day started with great excitement and merriment, as all the Class Twelve students dressed up to their glamorous best arrived for their grand welcome: the boys looked dashing in their tuxedos and the girls, who never fail to put on a show, were draped in gorgeous saris bought for the occasion. The enthusiastic students of class 11 honoured their seniors by presenting special cards to each one of them with a few lines of memories shared with the Arwachin family making them nostalgic. It was followed by a short and sweet entertainment programme comprising music and dance performances.

Students reminisced their fun-filled days in school and expressed how difficult it was for them to go out of the portals of their alma mater.

In a nostalgic speech, the school captains, Garima Aggarwal and Ashrit Nair remembered their time as school children, the various ups and down and failures and success and stressed on the importance of school life in shaping one’s destiny. They thanked the teachers for their endearing efforts in shaping up the destiny of a child and for being there when it mattered.

The Director and Principal gifted each one of them with a memento for their contribution to the school and reminded them not to forget the values inculcated in them by their parents and teachers. They also wished them good luck for their Board exams and future as well.

The bash ended with some dance and music along with cake cutting followed by lunch.
