The Annual picnic at Arwachin International School was held on 21st November 2015 with great enthusiasm and merriment. This year the venue was Pratapgarh Farms, Jhajjar in Haryana. The place is a quiet little hamlet set in the backdrop of lush green fields and whispering winds.

It was a fun-filled day for the students who enjoyed a lot of activities throughout the day such as pottery, pounding and grinding grains, making buttermilk, balancing pots, mud-bath, tube-well bath, camel ride, tractor ride, shooting, archery and a lot more--- the list is unending.

The students took a day’s break from the everyday fast-food and enjoyed traditional, pure and delicious food all throughout the day.  They enjoyed unlimited food, music, dance, fun, entertainment, games and sports. It was a unique experience for the Arwachinians to spend a day away from the hustle-bustle of the polluted city life. They got an insight into the life of the villagers and learnt how hard the villagers work to make their daily living.

The picnic broke up late in the afternoon and all returned to their daily lives feeling tired by the innumerable activities they did and a lot more enriched by the unforgettable experience they had.

The pre primary Students went to the zoo for picnic for the session on 2nd of November, 2015. Mrs Peter came to see us off and we were accompanied by Miss Sharma, our coordinator.  It was actually a gala day for the kids as they enjoyed to the fullest there . When we reached the zoo, the children were taken to various destinations by the electric vans in small groups . Different animals like the Hippopotamus, crocodile, dear, stag, rhinos, fox, etc were there but the children enjoyed the most when they saw the white tiger and its four healthy Cubs playing around.
The children enjoyed their day at the zoo and came back with good memories, experiences and fun stories. The children went back home at their usual timings.
