Visit by Professors of
Shizuoka University, Japan
On 1st February, 2016, Mr. Yoshiaki
Nozawa and Ms. Sakiko Kajino from Shizuoka University of Japan visited Arwachin
International School to educate our students about the “Asia Bridge Project”.
Students of classes X, XI and XII attended the discussion. “Asia Bridge Project” is a unique industry-
academic collaborative programme for the students of India and other three
Asian countries viz, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. The programme is designed to build global
leaders for business and society. Many
Shizuoka based international corporations like Honda Industries, Yamaha
industries; AEON, etc are supporting this project.
Students who would pass the screening can study
Japanese and the selected course at Shizuoka University with full scholarship,
and they will have plenty of job opportunities at the supporting global
companies after graduation.
Our students were very excited and motivated after
attending the lecture. Hopefully, they
will grow as liasons between India and Japan by participating in this project.
