Variety Entertainment Programme
The Pre- Primary Wing of Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden, organized the Variety Entertainment Programme on 28th February 2014. Mr. Arun Sharma, the Director was the guest of honour , Mrs. Sandra Swarup, the Director of Academics and Development and Mrs. Peter, the Principal of Arwachin International School honoured the occasion with their presence.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp which was followed by a dance presentation to the holy chant: ‘Om bhur bhav swaha….’
The parents were then welcomed with an electrifying dance performance to the song ‘Welcome’ and ‘Hakuna Matata’. As the theme of the event was The Environment, the play performed was actually an educational tour bringing us abreast with the problems faced by animals due to reckless deforestation by men.
There was an array of programmes that aimed at conveying the main theme of the play itself. The culmination of the programme was the finale which left the parents spell-bound. The programme ended on a very serious note, expressing the need for us, as the representatives of mankind and the superior creation of the ‘Almighty’, to stop and think that we need to save Mother Earth if we want the next generation to survive.
The programme concluded with the inspiring speeches by the Directors and the Principal on how the parents and the school can work hand-in-hand to develop the over-all personality of the children. The dispersal was announced after the National Anthem.
