“Music speaks what cannot be expressed

Soothes the mind and gives it rest

Heals the heart and makes it whole

Flows from heaven to the soul”

Music is an art form and cultural activity that benefits the children, teens, adults, middle- aged, and old-aged. A research has shown that involvement in music, improves basic mathematics and reading ability in the children. Learning music takes extreme self discipline and creativity. It is an easy outlet to release frustration and the burden on your shoulders. It uplifts and motivates the spirit and gives people a more positive outlook towards the life and situations. Keeping in mind the importance of music, Arwachinians are taught how to play different musical instruments.

To give a perfect platform to the young learners to perform, an inter house Instrumental music competition was organized on 22 August’17. The students from classes 6 to 12 participated in the competition. There were three rounds: Solo, Duet and Group. All the four houses gave their hundred percent.  The participants captured the attention of the audience.
