Arwachinians participated in Japanese Tea Ceremony Workshop

The Embassy of Japan organized a workshop showcasing the Japanese Tea Ceremony on Tuesday, 28^th Nov. 2017 at the Ambassador’s Residence. It was the part of the ongoing Japan festival 2017 - the Year of India-Japan Friendly Exchanges.

In the event, Ms. Yuko Sensui, Representative of the Association of the Preservation of Traditional Japanese Chanoyu Culture from Japan, introduced the history and tradition of tea ceremony, as well as  demonstrated the way of making & having tea.

Six of our Japanese language students of class 10 along with their Japanese language teacher Mrs. Jain, enthusiastically attended the event. The students were exposed to the comprehensive culture which is typically based on Japanese spirit of hospitality. They also got an opportunity to make and  serve  tea.

Our students are now highly influenced by the Japanese culture and motivated for Japanese language studies.  We look forward to attend such workshops in the future as well.

TWIF DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING WORKSHOP

TWIF Development & Training workshop was organized by Tug Of War federation of India which is recognized by Govt. of India, ministry of youth affairs & sports from 7^th to 10^th November 2017.  The workshop was conducted by the International President of TWIF Mr. Anton Rabe. It was a great honor for Mr. Dinesh Chand Papnay to be a part of this prestigious event. He represented Delhi as a coach and participated in this training workshop. It was a remarkable learning experience for him.

Dainik Jagran Yuva Hindi Sampadak Pratiyogita  2017

Shruti Porav of class XI-A received a consolation prize by the Dainik Jagran Yuva Hindi Sampadak Pratiyogita (Young Editors Competition) held in the month of September.She received the prize at the Constitution Club Of India‚ New Delhi on 6^th Nov.‚ 2017

‘ Yuva Sampadak ’ is an apt platform for students to showcase their literary talents and reach a new height in the field of newspaper editing.
