With an objective to develop sensory awareness, the student of classes LKG and UKG had a ‘soup party’ on 30th January’2018.Hot soup was served in the classes. The children enjoyed the delicious vegetable soup with bread crumbs. The teachers explained the health benefit of soup to the children. This activity also helped in stimulating the skills of being able to understand the concept of hot and cold. Overall, it was a great learning experience for the children.

    REPUBLIC DAY (1-5) 2018

    Arwachin International School celebrated the 69th Republic Day on 25th January, 2018. The students from classes 1 to 5 took part in it with great enthusiasm and zeal. The occasion was graced by the presence of our honorable director, Mr. Arun Sharma and the principal Mrs. Peter. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. It was an auspicious beginning.

    The programme started with a thoughtful dramatization of the Nukkad Naatak  based on the Fundamental rights mentioned in the constituition of India, which made the children aware of their rights as the citizen of India. After that, a poem on Republic Day was recited by Nikhil of class 5-C. It was followed by a mesmerizing Hindi song “Chhodo kal ki baatein”. Which was enjoyed by everyone.

    A speech was given by Shonal of class 4-C, she threw light on the meaning of the word “Republic” and told about the significance of 26th January as well. Next in the row, was a message sent by the honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Manish Sisodia about how to inculcate our constitution in our subject specific studies and teachings which was read by Mrs. Poonam Verma.

    The Instrumental Medley performed on the patriotic songs by the students of classes  4 and 5 was really a breathtaking one. Last but not the least, the young dancers of Arwachin performed on “Satyamev Jayate” song which left the audience spellbound. The programme concluded with the thought provoking, encouraging and inspiring words of our respected director Mr. Sharma. He shared his valuable thoughts that as we exercise our fundamental rights, we should also perform our fundamental duties religiously. Fundamental duties are the moral obligations of all the citizens to help promote the spirit of patriotism and to uphold the unity of India. He also told us that the constitution of India is made “by the people” and is “for the people” only so, we should take a pledge that we will follow it to make everyone happy. Our respected principal, Mrs. Peter said that we all are governed by the constitution of India. She also discussed the “PREAMBLE OF THE CONSTITUTION” and the values such as justice, liberty, equality and fraternity. She emphasized upon following these values in our life.

    The day was filled with patriotism.

      REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

      The tiny-tots of Arwachin celebrated Republic Day on 25th of January, 2018. The Hon. Director Mr. Arun Sharma and the Principal Mrs. Peter graced the occasion with their presence. 

      The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp and the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra. The children of LKG recited the rhyme, ‘Look at the flag’ and this was followed by the Indian Music children of UKG, who sang, ’Kadam Kadam bdhaye ja…’. Next performance was a dance by the LKG children on a foot tapping number, Suno Gaur se Duniya walo. It was followed by a beautiful patriotic song sung by the LKG- western music children, ‘I Salute my flag’. Last on the roll was a mesmerizing dance performance by the children of UKG on a patriotic medley.

      Mr. Sharma and Mrs. Peter addressed the assembly. They congratulated the teachers and the children for their efforts. The day was called with the singing of the National Anthem.

        Annual Exhibition (2017-18)

        There is no country like India, quite as diverse, multi – language and multi- cultural, yet bound together by the ancient bond of shared traditions, culture and value. To cherish the unity in diversity of our nation ,  Arwachin International School organized the Annual Exhibition 2017-2018 on the theme “ Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat “ .The students of classes 6 to 9 and 11 participated and decorated their classes as well as corridors with various models, charts, projects etc. showcasing the rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions of the States/Union Territories chosen by them. The following classes represented the following states:

        6A – Chhatisgarh and Gujrat 

        6B – Punjab and Andhra Pradesh 

        6C – Mizoram and Bihar and Tripura

        7A – Maharashtra and Odisha

        7B – Himachal Pradesh and Kerela

        7C – Kashmir and Kanya Kumari

        8A – West Bengal and Rajasthan

        8B – Uttar Prasesh and Meghalaya

        8C – Madhya Pradesh and Manipur and Nagaland

        9A – Andhra Pradesh and Punjab

        9B – Punjab and Andhra Pradesh

        9C – Rajasthan and West Bengal 

        9D- Rajasthan and West Bengal

        11A – Maharashtra and Odisha

        11B – Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakashdaweep Island

        11C – Karnataka and Uttarakhand

        11D – Goa and Jharkhand

        Besides the above mentioned classes Japanese and French students also displayed the culture and tradition of the respective countries. The STEM Club and Robotic Club also participated in the exhibition and showcased the need of AI (Artificial intelligence) and robots in our daily life through their working models of robots. Art students also exhibited their art work like painted bed sheets, canvases with pistachio shells, egg trays and spoons.  Handicrafts and sofa made of used tyres were also exhibited.

        The Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Sharma , Tehsildar Dholana, accompanied by our honorable Principal Mrs.Peter, applauded the hard work and creativity of the children. The visitors were also mesmerized by the marvelous work of our children. The exhibition was judged by Mrs. Sujata,Mrs Alka Garg and Mrs. Priya Mehrotra.

          Founder’s Day Celebration

          Arwachin International School celebrated its Founder’s Day on 15th January, 2018. It was the birth anniversary of our beloved founder Sri Sriniwas Sharma Ji (Bauji). The occasion commenced with the warm welcome of the Chief Guest, Mr. J. P. Sharma, our esteemed guests Mr. S.P Sharma & Mr. Anuroop Sharma, the Director Mr. Arun Sharma and the Principal Mrs. Peter, who graced the occasion by their benign presence.

          The programme started with the lighting of the lamp and ‘Guru Vandana’. Arwachinians sang a Hindi song ‘TUM AASHA VISHWAS HAMARE’ in honour of Bauji which was followed by a skit highlighting the vision and hard work put in by Bauji in his life to achieve his goal. The play was quite inspirational and applauded by the audience. It was then followed by the documentary on the life of Bauji and describing how Bauji contributed to shape the future of the Arwachinians. It really touched every heart. An English poem was also recited to pay a tribute to Bauji. A melodious instrumental performance was presented by the students with the beats of the song ‘HUMKO MAN KI SHAKTI DENA’, which reflected their happiness and pride for being Arwachinians. An emotion filled classical dance was presented showing our honour, love and gratitude for Bauji. It was a mesmerizing performance that was highly appreciated by the audience.

          Our honourable Chief Guest encouraged the students to learn everything that is good and to respect and regard their teachers as they are their real well-wishers. He also guided the teachers to touch every student’s heart to make teaching and learning process effective.

          Mr S.P Sharma appreciated the students’ performances and encouraged them with his inspiring & motivating words. The programme was concluded with the valuable words of Mrs Peter and singing of the National Anthem.
