                                                                                                 Sally Ride EarthKam Project

Four students of space club Aditi Pancharia, Kasish Goel, Mayank Aggarwal, Deepanshu Bharadwaj from Arwachin International School got an opportunity to be a part of Sally Ride EarthKam Project held at Amity School Vasundhara on 15th July 2014. Sally Ride EarthKam  is a NASA sponsored education programme that enables the students to photograph and examine Earth from the unique perspective of space. Participants learned to study geographical features, environmental problems weather and climate sciences, meteorological changes and other studies like deforestation, glacier recession etc. In the process they gained exposure to the tools like Google Earth and learnt about orbital mechanics and mapping. They were fascinated to receive photos specially clicked by ISS (The International Space station) for them.
