Arwachinis Excel In National Playbotics League 

On 10th Feb 2018, four teams of Arwachin International school went for Playbotics National League, 2018 organised by “ Neorobos “ organisation which gave an opportunity to our young minds  in JBM Global School (Noida) . The occasion was graced by the presence of Neorobos’ founder, Mr Nishant Jain, Director Mrs. Himani Jain and Director of JBM global school

This was an inter school competition and 55 teams participated in it. 

We feel so proud that a team of our school comprising of Tanisi of class 2 and Agranya of class 1 bagged the “Best Game Award “and “Overall Game” award. They were given trophies, cash prize of Rs. 2500 for each category and gifts. Our school is the only one from East Delhi that won the competition in the respective category. This is the result of the hardwork of Ms. Aayushi Jain, The STEM trainer, who guided the students and prepared them well for the competition and Mrs. Neeraj Sharma who took the responsibility of the students and coordinated so well. 

There were two rounds, one for the games where they had to solve a worksheet and accordingly move the bot on the respective mats. 

Second round was the Project, The topic for the projects were given on the spot to the students. They had to show their creativity with the Duplos and presenting skills. 

This STEM Competition fosters intensive research that improves students’ understanding of the value of scientific study and informs their consideration of future careers in these disciplines.

    SANSKRIT TEACHERS WORKSHOP

    SANSKRIT TEACHERS WORKSHOP

    A three day workshop for the Sanskrit teachers was organized by Delhi Sanskrit Academy from 2nd-4th  January, 2018 at Jhandelwalan Karol Bagh Delhi , which was attended by Mrs. Radha Sharma TGT Sanskrit.

                   The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr.Manish Sisodia and the main Resource Person were Dr.Puneeta Sharma from Venkateshwar college and Dr. Ashutosh Mathur from St.Stephen’s College. They discussed on the following topics.

    * Usage of new techniques in the teaching of Sanskrit.

    * Requirement and usefulness of  Sanskrit education in the present time.

    * To generate interest in the students towards Sanskrit.

    It was an enriching experience as it gave us ideas about many new things related to the Teaching- learning of Sanskrit.

        Japanese Language Workshop 2018

       Our Japanese Language Teachers, Mrs. Vandana Jain and Mrs. Charandeep Kaur attended the workshop on 3rd February 2018 at the Japan Foundation, New Delhi. The workshop was conducted by the Japanese Language School Teachers Association ( JALSTA) with the support of the Japan Foundation , New Delhi ( JFND).

      The first half of the workshop was associated with a presentation on the following topics :

      1.      Introduction of Hakuho Program 2018 and sharing the experience of Japan visit in Hakuho Program 2017.

      2.      Let’s open JF e – learning course “ Minato”.

      In the second half of the workshop, the Japanese language teachers from different schools, discussed about board exams of class 10. They shared their teaching strategies for slow learners and interchanged their pre-board papers also .

       We look forward for such workshop in future as well.

        33rd  NATIONAL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP

        33rd National Karate Championship was held on 2nd and 3rd February 2018 in Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai. This tournament was organized by Indian Professional Karate Council under the supervision of Sensei Rajeev Sinha. There were events like Individual Kumite and Omona Shiai which were classified according to the age group of the participants. The referees were Mr. Jitesh , Mr. Ishwar Thapa , Mr. Sandeep Salvi & Mr. Manoj. Participants from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and other states participated in the competition. Anant Chaudhary from Arwachin International School participated in the competition who got Bronze Medal in the same.
