Indraprastha Engineering College in Sahibabad organized "Kala Sangam 2", a cultural event to mark Gurupurab. The event saw participation from 121 students representing 19 schools across Delhi-NCR.

Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Municipal Councillor of Maujpur, inaugurated the event as the chief guest, alongside Mr. Sudesh Kumar Srivastava, Vice President of Country Inn & Suites, as the guest of honor. The judging panel included Director Himmat Singh Negi and music professor Dr. Yashpreet Kaur.

The program featured 12 competitions across 5 categories, showcasing a diverse range of student talents.

Our students also participated in the competitions and bagged the following positions:

Classical Singing- Tanvi Manglani-class 9 -First position

Light Singing-Shriyansh Vashisth & Tanvi Manglani-class-9-First position

Dance (Duet)-Bhavika Shri Prasanna-class10&Shruthi Sharma -class 11 - Second position

Instrumental Music (Solo)-Sanchit Sharma-class 7-Second position

Instrumental Music (Group)- Navya Bhatia, Ansh Bansal, Iqra Karim, Maurvi VikasBahuguna-class 9,Kabir Bhutani-class 11-First position

Theatre-Bhavya Jain, Aaliya Malik, Kabir Bhutani, Komal-Class-11,GurnaazKaur,Vedant Kaushik,Anshul Sharma class-9-First Position.

All the winners were awarded cash prizes, along with mementos and certificates. All participants received certificates of participation, recognizing their efforts and enthusiasm.

Dr. Ajay Kumar, the college director, and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, the dean, honoured the participants at the closing ceremony. The event served as a platform for students to display their artistic abilities and fostered cultural harmony among the participating institutions.

    CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT AIS

     

    On 14th November, Arwachin International School came alive with vibrant energy and joy as the school celebrated Children's Day with great enthusiasm. The celebrations began with children enjoying various games at the stalls installed for the occasion.A delicious food festwas another highlight of the day. The grand finale was the DJ dance session, where children let loose and danced to their favourite tunes. The energy on the dance floor was infectious, as students enjoyed to the fullest and celebrated the occasion.The event was a great success, leaving smiles on every face. It was a day to remember, reinforcing the bond between students and teachers while celebrating the joy of childhood.

      On 9th November 2024, the French department of Arwachin International School attended  a workshop organized by the Prayatna Society at Springdales School, Pusa Road, with Ms.Preeti Bhutani as the resource person.

       

      The workshop focused on the recapitulation of academic topics through engaging activities. Ms. Preeti Bhutani demonstrated how teachers can effectively reinforce learning by incorporating interactive exercises such as group discussions, quizzes, and hands-on tasks. The objective was to make revision sessions more dynamic and student-friendly. The workshop was highly informative, offering practical strategies for educators to enhance classroom engagement and improve retention. Participants were introduced to various activity-based techniques that can be adopted across different age groups and subjects.

       

      Overall, the workshop provided valuable insights into making recapitulation more effective, enjoyable and meaningful for students.

        NIHONGO PARTNERS DELEGATION VISITS ARWACHIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

         

        A delegation from the Nihongo Partners Programme Tokyo, Japan, along with officials from the Japan Foundation, New Delhi, visited Arwachin International School on November 11, 2024. The purpose of their visit was to conduct cultural exchange activities for Japanese language learners from classes 6 to 12.

        The programme commenced with a traditional Indian lamp-lighting ceremony and the delegation was welcomed with a Tilak ceremony—a symbol of Indian culture and tradition. The Principal, Mrs RuchiraBhatnagarpresented a token of appreciation to the entire team of Nihongo Partners,as part of the official welcome.

        After the address of the Principal, the students showcased an Indian classical dance, offering the delegation a taste of India’s rich cultural heritage. The programme manager from Nihongo Partners introduced the programme's short-term and long-term objectives, emphasizing their dedication to fostering cross-cultural understanding.

        The event continued with interactive activities, including Japanese fan designing with calligraphy, Yukata-wearing, and an enthusiastic Bon Odori dance. To conclude, our Japanese language learners performed the traditional SoranBushi dance, expressing their affection for Japan. The Nihongo Partners joined in, dancing with the students, creating a moment of genuine cultural connection.

        This enriching exchange has left us eagerly anticipating the long-term Nihongo Partners Programme, which promises to further deepen the bond between our cultures.

          CLASS I & II Children’s Day was marked with grand splendour and fiesta at school campus buzzed with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. The children relished their favourite food with classmates. Various activities were organised for the children of all classes I & II such as art & craft, magic show, bullock cart riding, movie, DJ & surprise gifts. Students greatly enjoyed playing and having fun. It was a day full of joy and laughter for the students.

            PRE PRIMARY INDIAN MUSIC COMPETITION

             ‘Music gives wings to the heart and takes it to the world of joy’.

            The Indian Music Competition for pre-primary was splendidly organized at Arwachin International School on 5th November 2024. The competition gave a platform to the melodious singers to exhibit their talent and express their confidence by active participation .The competition was divided into two categories solo and  group. Three proficient students from UKG  took part in the solo singing talent.

            The competition started by the sweet voices of LKG children who sang the fun loving songs  “Lakdi Ki Kathi”,  “Nani Teri Morni”,  “Chun Chun Karti Aayi Chidiya” . Next was the group song performances by UKG children and the theme was DIWALI .It was followed by solo performances by UKG children and the theme was FAMILY. Students participated with great enthusiasm and excitement.

             

             The judges of the competition were Mrs. Yog Jyoti and Mrs.Nisha. The occasion was graced by the presence of our Respected Principal Mrs.Ruchira Bhatnagar and our Co-ordinator  Ms.Natasha Sharma. She applauded the efforts of all the little ones and praised the teachers for their zealous attitude.

              Arwachin International School celebrated Diwali with devotion and enthusiasm. Students performed songs and dances in reverence to Lord Ganpati, accompanied by instrumental music. A drama on "Say No to Crackers" and "Return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya" conveyed a profound message. The chairman, Mr. Sharma and the  principal, Mrs. Bhatnagar shared words of wisdom, encouraging a cleaner, greener Diwali.
