JAPANESE MINI CAMP

A day long Japanese Language Mini Camp was organised by Japanese Language School Teachers’ Association (JALSTA)  hosted by DPS, Mathura Road  on April 11, 2025. It was supported by The Embassy of Japan, The Japan Foundation, New Delhi (JFND), Japan Airlines (JAL) and The Japanese Tea Ceremony club of Delhi.

The Japanese language students of Classes 8 and 9 along with their Japanese Language Teachers, Mrs.Vandana Jain and Ms.Mimansa Thapliyal attended the camp.

The camp started with the orientation followed by icebreaking Japanese game, Bollywood to Nihongo role play and presentation. Later, the students experienced various Japanese cultural activities and games like Tamaire, Karuta, Haiku, Tea Ceremony, Yukata wearing, Calligraphy, Soran, etc. during the camp. The event concluded with the souvenirs and smiling faces of the students. 

They were able to learn about Japanese culture. This camp also motivated them to pursue Japanese language in future.

Celebration of B.R.Ambedkar Jayanti

 Classes  1 to 5 of Arwachin International School commemorated the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, a visionary leader, scholar and architect of the Indian Constitution. The celebration aimed to honor his legacy, promote equality and inspire students to uphold his values.

A week long diverse activities were conducted for the students. They are as follows:

• Special Assembly followed by quiz on Life and works of Dr. Ambedkar
• Drawing competition with theme – Dr. Ambedkar’s life and works
• Write up on Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions to shape present day India
• Letter writing to a friend on the contributions of Dr. Ambedkar
• Collecting newspaper clippings and articles on life of Dr. Ambedkar

Through these activities, students gained insight into Dr. Ambedkar’s remarkable life and work. The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to Dr. B R Ambedkar’s enduring legacy, promoting values of equality, justice, and empowerment among students.

Interactive Assembly

Class V D

On 9^th April, an Interactive Assembly was conducted by the students of Class

V D with the theme “World Health Day”. The assembly showcased the diverse talents and abilities of our students.

The assembly started with the “teacher talk” on “World Health Day” followed by the thought of the day emphasizing the importance of staying fit and healthy,  and highlighting physical and emotional growth.

This was followed by a thought-provoking skit by a group of students, emphasizing the significance of a healthy mind and body.

Then the students recited a wonderful collection of poems.

The cultural element of the assembly was enriched by a captivating and lively dance performance.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.

To summarize, the assembly provided a platform for students to showcase their multifaceted skills.

Ice-Breaking Activities

Classes 3 to 5

To make the first day of school fun and welcoming, ice-breaking activities were held for students in classes 3 to 5. The aim was to help students get to know each other and feel more comfortable in their new environment.

The activities began with students introducing themselves and participating in fun games such as: 2 Truths and a Lie, Pass the Ball, All About Me, Name Game, Reverse Teacher, and the Snowball Activity, among others. These activities allowed the students to learn more about their classmates and build new friendships.

The session was filled with laughter, joy, and excitement. It helped students feel relaxed, confident, and ready to embark on the new school year. It was a joyful and energetic start to the session!

The Transformational Teacher Award 2025

The Transformational Teacher Award 2024-25 was organized by SHARDA UNIVERSITY on Saturday, 5th April, 2025 at SMSR, Sharda University, Greater Noida. Our school Teacher Mr. Sumit Sharma (PGT Mathematics) was also invited for the ceremony. On the basis of students’ feedback they had finalised teachers for the award.

The chief guests were Shri J.K. Yadav, Director CBSE and Shri Dharamveer ji , District Inspector of Schools (DIOS). The guests were honoured by Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gupta , Chairman Sharda University.

All the awardees from different states were facilitated with a trophy and a certificate. There was also a photo session in which the awardees got their photos clicked with the guests .In the end, a delicious lunch was provided along with sweets.

The Transformational Teacher award ceremony was an enriching experience, offering valuable insights and inspiration. I believe that implementing some of the ideas and strategies presented can be benefit our school community.

INTRODUCTORY ASSEMBLY OF THE SESSION

The introductory assembly of the session 2025-26 was conducted on 4^th April 2025 for the students of classes 9, 10 and 12. The session was designed to familiarize everyone with the school's values, history, rules, and expectations for the academic year.

The assembly began with a video presentation showcasing the life, vision, and contributions of the esteemed founder of the school, Shri. Shriniwas Sharma. The video highlighted the core principles and mission upon which the school was established, inspiring students to uphold the institution's values.

Following the video presentation, the teachers were introduced to the students. Each teacher briefly addressed the assembly, sharing their subject expertise and enthusiasm for the upcoming academic year. This segment helped students become familiar with their mentors and facilitators.

The session continued with an address by the Coordinator, Mrs. Sangita Sharma, who elaborated on the rules and regulations of the school. Important aspects such as attendance policies, discipline guidelines, dress code, and academic expectations were explained in detail. The Coordinator emphasized the importance of adhering to these rules to maintain a structured and conducive learning environment.

The Principal then took the stage to share words of encouragement and motivation with the students. The speech focused on the significance of academic excellence, character building, and active participation in extracurricular activities. The Principal also reiterated the school’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and disciplined atmosphere for holistic development.

The event successfully set a positive tone for the new session, leaving students feeling motivated and well-informed about the school’s vision and values.

Founder’s Day Celebration and Introductory Assembly

Arwachin International school celebrated  Founder’s Day  on 3^rd April,2025 with great enthusiasm, marking the beginning of the new academic session. The occasion was graced by  Mr. Anurup Sharma, Mrs. Vineeta Sharma, Mrs. Ayushi Sharma, and Mrs. Swarup , whose presence made the event even more special.

The celebration commenced with a  prayer  led by students of  Classes VI to VIII invoking blessings for a successful year ahead. This was followed by a  soulful instrumental medley  performed by talented students, creating a serene and inspiring atmosphere. The highlight of the event was a beautifully choreographed  dance on Guru Vandana , paying tribute to the guiding forces in our lives. 

As a token of appreciation,  mementoes were presented  to the esteemed guests. This was followed by  words of wisdom  from  Mr. Anurup Sharma and Mrs. Swarup , who emphasized the importance of dedication, perseverance, and values in a student's journey. Their insights left a lasting impact on the young minds. 

The event concluded with a heartfelt  vote of thanks by the Principal , expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, and students for making the occasion a memorable one. 

Following the celebration, the  Introductory Assembly  for the new session was conducted. The Academic Coordinator(Class VI-VIII), Mrs. Priya Grover,  addressed the students, welcoming them and outlining the  guidelines  to be followed throughout the year. These included maintaining discipline and punctuality, respecting teachers, peers, and school property, being diligent in academics and extracurricular activities, and upholding the school's values of integrity, responsibility, and kindness.  The new addition to the middle wing, the Class 6 students were warmly welcomed and the teachers were introduced to them to ensure smooth transition and ease of learning.

The day set a positive and inspiring tone for the new academic session, motivating students to strive for excellence in all aspects of school life.
