FABRIC PASTING ACTIVITY 

Children of class 2 participated in Fabric pasting  to enhance creativity and understanding of textures of different clothes.
Students brought different types of fabric pieces such as cotton, silk and Woollen in  various colors and patterns. They sat in groups and  pasted these fabric pieces in the given  pictures.The students  developed 
 teamwork and patience while sharing materials and ideas.
The activity was a fun and engaging way to integrate art and craft with EVS.

    The students of classes V B and V D of Arwachin International School got a wonderful opportunity to learn about the inspiring freedom warriors who selflessly battled for our country. Group presentations on different leaders who took part in the freedom struggle, not only helped the students know about the sacrifices, but also provided them the virtues of bravery, selflessness and patriotism. The activity boosted their confidence by giving them the opportunity to speak in front of everyone. All the children participated with a lot of enthusiasm. This activity proved to be a great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their talents.

      HEALTH AND WELLNESS CLUB ASSEMBLY

       

      The interactive assembly was conducted  by the students of classes 3 to 5 of Health and Wellness Club on 11th December, 2024. The students started the event with an engaging role play, demonstrating the importance of healthy eating habits and staying fit and active. Following this, the students performed a series of karate techniques, displaying their strength and discipline while emphasizing the physical and mental benefits of martial arts. The final performance was a lively Zumba session, where the children danced to energetic music. The assembly successfully combined education with entertainment, leaving the audience motivated to adopt healthier lifestyle habits.

        सतरंगी हिंदी, आधुनिक हिंदी कार्यशाला

        भारत माता के माथे की बिंदी, हम सबकी प्यारी हिंदी।

        फुल मार्क्स प्रकाशन द्वारा 7 दिसंबर, 2024 को भारती पब्लिक स्कूल, मयूर विहार , नई दिल्ली में श्रीमती पुनीता पचौरी के मार्गदर्शन में एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें अर्वाचीन इंटरनेशनल स्कूल, दिलशाद गार्डन की ओर से श्रीमती शुचि कौशिक और श्रीमती पूनम वर्मा ने भाग लिया। इस कार्यशाला का विषयसतरंगी हिंदी, आधुनिक हिंदीथा।

        कार्यशाला में विभिन्न मुख मुद्राओं द्वारा छात्रों को हिंदी मात्राओं के शिक्षण के विषय में बताया गया। विद्यार्थियों में उच्चारण संबंधी अशुद्धियों को दूर करने संबंधी अनेक ज्ञानवर्धक जानकारियाँ प्रदान की गईं। मानक हिंदी एवं शुद्ध वर्तनियों पर चर्चा की गई इस कार्यशाला में विभिन्न रुचिकर गतिविधियों द्वारा हिंदी भाषा शिक्षण को रुचिकर बनाने एवं कक्षा में छात्रों की सहभागिता बढ़ाने पर ज़ोर दिया गया। विद्यार्थियों में उच्चारण संबंधी अशुद्धियों को दूर करने संबंधी अनेक ज्ञानवर्धक जानकारियाँ प्रदान की गईं। भाषा कौशलों के विकास संबंधित गतिविधियाँ भी सुझाई गईं। अतः यह कार्यशाला अत्यंत लाभप्रद एवं ज्ञानवर्धक थी।

          JAPANESE INTERACTIVE ASSEMBLY BY CLASSES III-V

           

          The students of classes 3 to 5 conducted the Japanese interactive assembly to showcase the culture and language of Japan. The event was thoughtfully organized and included a variety of engaging performances that captivated the audience.

           

          The assembly began with a delightful group song, "Doraemon" sung in Japanese. This was followed by a series of role plays performed in the Japanese language, demonstrating the students' growing proficiency and creativity. A beautiful dance performance further enriched the event, leaving the audience mesmerized by its grace and cultural essence. To conclude, an interactive quiz on Japan was conducted, which not only tested but also expanded the students' knowledge about Japan's culture, traditions and language.

           

          Mrs. Surya Laxmi, the coordinator, commended the students for their hard work and dedication. She encouraged them to continue spreading their enthusiasm for the Japanese language and culture.

           

          This event highlighted the importance of cultural understanding and language learning, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

            क्षेत्रीय संस्कृत क्लब गतिविधि प्रतियोगिता (२०२४)

            शिक्षा निदेशालय द्वारा दिनांक ११ नवंबर से १६ नवंबर तक पाँच दिवसीय क्षेत्रीय संस्कृत क्लब के अन्तर्गत आयोजित प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन सबोली विद्यालय के उपप्रधानाचार्य श्रीमान्‌ रूपचन्द जी के नेतृत्व में अर्वाचीन इंटरनेशनल विद्यालय में किया गया । इन प्रतियोगिताओं में सभी सरकारी और गैर सरकारी विद्यालयों ने प्रतिभाग किया । शिक्षक श्रीमान्‌ दिव्यांशु आर्य, श्रीमान्‌ राहुल आर्य, श्रीमान्‌ दीपक शर्मा, श्रीमान्‌ सोनू शर्मा, और शिक्षिका श्रीमती डॉ० दीप्ति कुमारी द्वारा निर्णायक मंडल की प्रतिभा निभाई गई ।अर्वाचीन इंटरनेशनल स्कूल के छात्रों ने अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया। भाषण प्रतियोगिता में कक्षा नवमी के छात्र वेदान्त ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। संभाषण प्रतियोगिता में कक्षा सप्तमी की छात्रा हरलीन कौर और धैर्य वर्मा ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया और श्लाकोच्चारण प्रतियोगिता में चैतन्य देव ने द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।

            इन प्रतियोगितायों का आयोजन अर्वाचीन विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती रुचिरा भट्नागर जी के दिशा निर्देश के अर्न्गगत हुआ तथा प्रतियोगिताओं को सम्पन्न करवाने में उन्होंने पूर्ण सहयोग दिया ।विजेता छात्रों को स्मृति चिहन और प्रमाण-पत्र देकर पुरस्कृत किया गया।

              On 29 November, 2024, The Eco and Heritage Club of our school organized an interactive assembly to celebrate the efforts of the students in environmental conservation and cultural preservation. The program began with an inspiring introduction to the club, highlighting initiatives like bird feeders, rally on water preservation, making of organic colors etc. Working model of Rain Water Harvesting was showcased and the students and teachers were informed about the process of making Ecobricks and how they can be used to build different structures. The assembly featured a thought-provoking mime act on saving water. A video showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and traditions provided a visual treat, emphasizing the importance of preserving our legacy. To engage the audience further, a quiz on India’s culture and heritage tested their knowledge and enthusiasm. The event concluded with the signing of the National anthem and creating awareness to protect our environment and heritage, leaving everyone motivated to contribute to these causes.

                REPORT ON ENGLISH WORKSHOP

                On 27 Nov’24 Oxford University Press organised a session on "Making Teaching English in the Classroom Enjoyable". It was attended by Mrs. Priya Grover and Ms. Natasha Sharma. The Resource Person was Ms. Claire Horsburgh.

                 

                The Key takeaways from the session were-

                 1. Cross-Curriculum Links: The resource person emphasized the importance of integrating English language learning with other subjects, such as history, science, and mathematics. This approach helps students see the relevance of English language skills in real-life contexts.

                2. Working with Words and Pre-Reading and Post-Reading Exercises: Participants learned various techniques to make vocabulary building and word work more engaging, including word games, puzzles, activities that promote critical thinking, setting reading goals, including discussions, debates, writing tasks, and creative projects.

                3. Making Poetry More Interesting and Using Plays, Letters, and Diaries: The resource person provided tips on how to make poetry more accessible and enjoyable for students, including using visual aids, music, and performance. Also how to incorporate plays, letters, and diaries into general English language lessons to make learning more engaging and interactive.

                 

                The participants gained practical ideas and strategies for making English language classes more enjoyable and engaging. Educators developed a deeper understanding of how to integrate English language learning with other subjects. The workshop fostered a sense of community among participants, who shared their experiences and best practices.
