RECEPTION OF HIS MAJESTY THE EMPEROR OF JAPAN’S BIRTHDAY

The Embassy of Japan celebrated the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan on 14th February 2025 at the Japan Information Centre, Embassy of Japan. Several dignitaries, diplomats, academicians, and cultural representatives graced the occasion.Mrs. Vandana Jain, Japanese Language Coordinator of Arwachin International School, attended the event.

The reception commenced with a warm welcome by the Japanese ambassador, His Excellency Mr. ONO Keiichi. The national anthems of both Japan and India were played, followed by a speech delivered in Hindi by Mr. ONO. In his speech, he praised the beauty, diversity, and hospitality of India, reflecting on his experiences visiting different places in the country.

Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon'ble Minister of Education, Government of India, also joined the event. He highlighted the deep-rooted friendship and growing collaboration between the two nations.

The evening featured captivating elements of Japan’s advancements in technology, education and traditional Japanese culture, including a mesmerizing Taiko (Japanese drum) performance. The guests enjoyed an array of authentic Japanese cuisine, offering a delightful experience of Japanese hospitality.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Embassy of Japan for the invitation and look forward to future collaborations that will enrich our students’ learning experiences and global outlook.

    Three students of Class 10 - AyushGoyal, Anshika Srivastava and ArnaAtreyhave brought laurels for the school by successfully clearing the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N5 (JLPT) held in December 2024. This prestigious international certification, conducted by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, evaluates proficiency in the Japanese language across various levels.The JLPT not only enhances language skills but also opens new academic and career opportunities in the future.

    The students exhibited full dedication and hard work in mastering Japanese, and their success is a testament to their commitment and perseverance.

      The NCC cadets from Arwachin International School recently took part in the prestigious A Certificate Exam, held at GSBV Jafrabad, Delhi. The cadets showcased their skills through a comprehensive assessment, which included a written test as well as practical tests in various disciplines such as drill, field craft, battle craft, map reading, rifle assembly and disassembly, and fitness tests.

       

      The cadets performed exceptionally well, demonstrating discipline, focus, and dedication. They have set the stage for a bright future, with many future officers in the making.

           EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO BHARAT MATA MANDIR

          Students of classes III-V visited the Bharat Mata Mandir to learn about India’s freedom movement and the brave warriors who fought for our country’s independence.

           

          The Students had a chance to learn about the courage and sacrifices of many freedom fighters, especially the young warriors who gave up their lives for the country at a very tender age. The students were moved by their bravery and love for the country.

           

          Students also learnt about writers who used their words to raise awareness about social issues. These writers helped people understand the importance of justice, equality, and standing up for what is right.

           

          The visit was an exciting learning experience for the students. They were happy to learn about the freedom fighters and writers who helped shape India. The trip inspired them to appreciate the sacrifices made for our country, understand how powerful words can be in changing the world and also motivated them to think how can they contribute to preserve the country’s rich history.

           

          Overall, the visit to Bharat Mata Mandir was a great way for the students and teachers to learn about the history of India and the people who made it what it is today.

            The farewell ceremony for the students of the outgoing batch of Class 12 at Arwachin International School on February 7, 2025, was a memorable and enriching event that blended tradition, culture, talent, and intelligence. The ceremony organized by the students of Class 11, was a heartfelt tribute to bid adieu to the senior students in a grand and memorable manner.

            The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana,
            invoking blessings for the outgoing students and setting a spiritual and auspicious tone for the day.

            A cultural programme presented by the talented students of Class 11, unfolded with captivating performances including music & dance. The audience was treated to a spectacular display of creativity and enthusiasm.

            The outgoing batch was honoured with titles and gifts as a token of love and appreciation by their beloved juniors.The Head Girl, Vanshita Raina and Head Boy, Kairav Kishore expressed their love and gratitude to the entire school community for the unconditional help and support and cherished their
            lifelong memories they have created during their time at the school.

            The students of Class 12 showcased their talents through a glamorous ramp walk and talent show, which included music, dance, and poetry recitation
            where the seniors showcased their style and talents to impress our esteemed judges Mrs. Ayushi Sharma, Ms. Natasha Sharma and Ms. Prachi Tyagi who also tested their wit by asking some impromptu questions to them followed by the announcement of the results and acknowledgment of outstanding performances by awarding them with the following titles:

            The Chairman of the school,Mr. Arun Sharma ,Principal, Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar and Director, Mrs Ayushi Sharma addressed the gathering, sharing words of wisdom, encouragement, appreciation and blessed them with their best wishes for the future.They emphasized the importance of perseverance, resilience, and teamwork in achieving success.

            The ceremony concluded with a festive lunch, bringing together students, teachers, and staff to share a meal, exchange memories, and bid a fond farewell which was a fitting tribute to bid adieu to the seniors and wish them success and happiness in their future endeavours.

              68th NATIONAL GAMES (NETBALL) 

              The 68th National Games  (Netball), organized by the School Games Federation, took place from 25-28 December, 2024, at Korba in Chhattisgarh. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 28 states, showcasing the talent and competitive spirit of young netball players from across the country.

              Arwachin International School emerged as a dominant force, with their exceptional performance leading to remarkable victories in both the senior boys and senior girls’ categories. Their remarkable performance was a testament of their hard work, perseverance and the guidance of their coach,  Mrs. Arti Tyagi. Two students participated in Sub-Junior Boys' Girls Category and one in Junior Girls Category displaying exemplary skills and determination throughout the tournament. Their relentless efforts paid off as they clinched the Silver medals for Delhi State, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and individual brilliance. Our students emerged as a shining example of dedication and sportsmanship, bringing pride to their school and the state.

                Arwachin International School, Dilshad Garden, vibrantly celebrated Basant Mela on 1st February 2025. The event was a grand fusion of cultural performances, fun-filled games, and delectable delicacies. The occasion was graced by the dignified presence of the Guest of Honor Mr. Uttam Prakash, Chairman Mr. Arun Sharma, Directors Mr. Akshat Sharma and Mrs. Ayushi Sharma, and Principal Mrs. Ruchira Bhatnagar.

                 

                The highlight of the Mela was a series of captivating cultural performances by talented students. The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries, followed by Ganpati and Saraswati vandana. A traditional Saraswati vandana dance set the festive tone. The melodious solo and group instrumental performances uplifted the audience's spirits. Energetic modern and folk dances from various Indian regions enthralled everyone. The students presented thought-provoking skits emphasizing environmental protection and women empowerment. A mesmerizing magic show created a magical ambience. Soulful Bhajan singing, Shiv Strotra, and Geeta Shloka recitation by the students further enriched the event.

                 

                The Lucky Draw segment kept the excitement alive with three rounds of thrilling prize distributions, delighting the participants. Engaging games and activities maintained high energy levels throughout the day. Stalls witnessed long queues of eager participants, with winners receiving exciting prizes. The aroma of delicious food filled the air as various food stalls served mouth-watering treats.

                 

                The Basant Mela was a resounding success, uniting the school community in a celebration of culture, creativity, and joy. The esteemed parents appreciated the opportunity to witness their children's talents and participate in the festivities. The organizing committee's meticulous planning and enthusiastic participation from students and teachers ensured the event's smooth execution. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and memorable moments cherished by all.
